Sei ein Mann

This project aims to shed light on the inequalities between men and women that are not always immediately visible. During a week-long design lab, we were free to choose our own topic — and we decided to create a poster series to raise awareness and  spark reflection.

Women are more likely to get their drink spiked
Although men typically use urinals, which take up less space, women often receive the same share of space. This leads to longer waiting times for women, as they spend more time in stalls and use the toilets more frequently.

Although contraception is still primarily considered a woman's responsibility, with methods like the pill having significant side effects, there is a lack of equally effective, non-hormonal options for men, highlighting the gender imbalance in contraceptive responsibilities.

Crash test dummies are largely modeled on male bodies, which leads to more severe injuries and fatalities for women in car accidents, as their bodies are not adequately represented in crash simulations.
